About Shannon Horseback Adventures Est. 1983 in Fremantle

Kevin Henderson and Jo Melville bought Shannon from Jeff Muir in 1997 and now Jeff is buying it back and returning to Shannon. Kev and Jo have done a fantastic job of entertaining and delivering that amazing Shannon Horseback Adventures experience of a life for the past 16 years. They have now had enough and ready to take a well-earned rest. Some people say that the rides will never be the same without Kev and Jo and yes that is true.

It’s also what people said when Jeff sold in 1997 and it was true then too. The Shannon experience is a very personal thing and different for everyone. For some it’s the horses and the ride along Coodamarup beach, others remember the campfire stories and new friends.

The Karri forest and the ocean and the food and the company all make up a weekend that some people still talk about 20 years later and recount as one of the best experiences of their lives. You would swear that Jeff and Kev were brothers when it comes to spinning a yarn, having a good laugh and leading you safely through the National Park and Karri country where they grew up chasing cattle.
